The process of building engineered structures and infrastructure projects is not without its environmental consequences. Urban development transforms landscapes and impacts the biotope and biodiversity. Fully aware of this ecological impact, Spie batignolles works with its customers to limit its environmental footprint.
Spie batignolles priorities
To develop projects on the basis of eco-design principles, from concept to completion, using the expertise of its Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) teams
To improve its production processes by reducing on-site consumption of raw materials and energy
To reduce the volume of waste generated, encourage the sorting and recycling of materials, and reuse demolition waste wherever possible
To use recycled materials wherever possible and select more environmentally-friendly products, such as water-based paints and 100% vegetable concrete form oil
To conserve the natural resources (gypsum, aggregates, etc.) used in the manufacture of finished products (concrete, glass, PVC, etc.) by adopting an integrated management approach
